P2P launches at the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach
Path to the Pits is excited to announce its launch at the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach — and what a launch it was.
As a nonprofit organization focused on providing access to motorsports careers for young adults aged 18 to 28, especially those from underrepresented communities, we set out to do more than just attend a race. We wanted to change lives, and we started with 20 incredible students.
Thanks to generous support and a shared vision with our partners, we were able to host these students trackside for an immersive, behind-the-scenes experience. From paddock tours to conversations with professionals across racing teams and vendors, we introduced our first group of participants to the real motorsports industry — the one beyond the grandstands.
The impact? It was immediate and unforgettable. For many students, it was their first exposure to the variety of technical and professional roles that make racing happen. As highlighted in the Press-Telegram article, our presence wasn’t just about access — it was about representation, visibility, and inspiration.
Pictured above, Sneha Ramakrishnan is our Director of Operations and also serves as President of Bronco Motorsports FSAE. She reflects the very heart of our mission — talented young adults with the passion, drive, and skills to succeed in motorsports when given the opportunity.
Since Long Beach, our momentum has only grown. We proudly joined forces with McLaren Racing Engage as their first North American partner, expanding our reach and impact. Together, we're activating at races throughout the INDYCAR season, building meaningful connections between students, educational institutions, and the world of motorsports.
At Path to the Pits, this is just the beginning. We’re here to change the face of motorsports — and we’re bringing the next generation with us, straight to the pits.
