We are thrilled to announce our groundbreaking collaboration with McLaren Racing Engage for the 2023 NTT INDYCAR SERIES season.

At Path to the Pits, our mission is clear: to cultivate a more diverse and inclusive talent pipeline within motorsport. Our journey began alongside Arrow McLaren in 2022, igniting efforts to introduce young adults to the thrilling careers available within racing through invaluable networking opportunities and unprecedented trackside access.

Aligned with McLaren Racing Engage's commitment to fostering inclusivity, Path to the Pits stands at the forefront of initiatives dedicated to breaking barriers and expanding horizons. Joining esteemed programs such as the Women’s Engineering Society, EqualEngineers, Smallpiece Trust, and Creative Access, we're collectively shaping a future where everyone has a place in motorsport.

Throughout the 2023 NTT INDYCAR SERIES season, Path to the Pits will be activating at multiple races, collaborating with local colleges and tech education programs to engage young adults passionate about STEM careers. Our goal is simple: to introduce them to the electrifying world of racing and unveil the myriad of career opportunities within the industry.

Our journey kicks off at the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach from April 14-16, where 25-30 participants will embark on an immersive experience, delving into the heart of the action as they tour the paddock, connect with industry insiders, and glean invaluable career guidance. From there, we'll be making pit stops at the GMR Grand Prix at the iconic Indianapolis Motor Speedway on May 13-14 and the Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix from June 2-4.

But our commitment doesn't end trackside. Path to the Pits participants will receive exclusive invitations to virtual panels and discussions with industry luminaries, along with ongoing career guidance encompassing resume reviews, interview preparation tips, and unparalleled networking opportunities.

Join us as we pave the way to a more diverse and inclusive future in motorsport. Together, let's revitalize the racing landscape and champion talent from all walks of life. Your journey starts here, with Path to the Pits.

“Welcoming Path to the Pits as our first North American partner of the McLaren Racing Engage program is not only exciting but important as well. We’re committed as an organization to grow accessibility and inclusivity in motorsport and the paddock, and to do so requires investment and creative solutions. Partnering with Path to the Pits helps us do both.”

Kate O'Hara-Hatchley, Head of Diversity, Early Careers & Development, McLaren Racing

“McLaren Engage has done so much to elevate the work of nonprofit organizations working toward inclusivity in motorsport. The charitable organizations McLaren Engage sponsors in the UK are doing impactful work, and to be included among them, and the first in North America, is an unbelievable honor. In the United States, Arrow McLaren is leading the way in partnering with programs that support their sustainability goals, including Path to the Pits. With their dynamic support, the 2023 season will be filled with significance, purpose and value for our organization."
